No: The fact that your boy friend already has had chickenpox as a child makes him immune to getting the disease again. A very slight risk exists because if the illness in childhood was very early on , especially before 1 yr of age he may not have developed good immunity. But overall u should feel relaxed about this.

Probably not: The vast majority of persons exposed to chickenpox as a child have lifelong immunity. Your boyfriend will probably be fine.
Please avoid infants, pregnant women or women who could be pregnant, the very elderly, and people with weak immune systems like cancer patients until you have no visible pox.
