Probably not: The vast majority of persons exposed to chickenpox as a child have lifelong immunity. Your boyfriend will probably be fine. Please avoid infants, pregnant women or women who could be pregnant, the very elderly, and people with weak immune systems like cancer patients until you have no visible pox. Be well soon.
