It can work that way: Your body naturally produces hemoglobin; if you have plenty of iron (the ferrous gluconate was discontinued when your stores were adequately repleted) it is not unnatural that it could have gone up. Adult females naturally have a little bit lower hemoglobin than men, but 15 is not abnormal. It could have increased due to dehydration, decreased menstrual losses, smoking, sleep apnea, or other.
