Need evaluation: Anhedonia is part of depression. In either case, you should seek consultation with psychiatrist for a proper evaluation and treatment. Please note that effective treatments are available and you should seek care. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.

Anhedonia is one of: the nine major sx's of depression. The others include sleep problems, low energy, low sex drive, eating more or less and gaining or losing weight, social withdrawal, crummy mood (sad, cranky, angry), anxiety, increased use of substances (alcohol included), etc. Get an eval by a mental health therapist.
