Do morphine and tapentadol work on the the same receptors ? taking both for chronic pain.

Morphine and tapenta: Morphine works only on opioid receptors. Tapentadol works on opioid receptors and norepinephrine uptake. It would make no sense to take both as short acting - one has to be long acting and the other short acting.
