A member asked:

If endorphins bind to opioid receptors then why don't they cause nausea and vomiting like opioid painkillers such as morphine?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dosage: The amount of endorphins we produce are a very tiny fraction of the kind of activity you get with a dose of morphine or other opioids. This is why they produce such significant painkilling ability, as well as significant euphoria/highs.
