Sure can: Certainly sounds like food poisoning (and food poisoning is caused by a "bug"). Can you identify what food may have caused it? If it is food poisoning, it should resolve within a couple of days. If it does not, see your primary care doc. Probiotics are a reasonable thing to take along with plenty of hydration. I would not recommend taking medication to slow down loose stools.
