What's the difference between myelopathy & radiculopathy and what are symptoms of both.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cervical Myelopathy: Michael: Myelopathy refers to loss of function & weakness in arms and legs, both sides, from compression of the spinal cord within the neck. Radiculopathy is loss of function in a specific region (one side) of an extremity (arm or leg) due to irritation and / or compression of a spinal nerve root; manifests as pain traveling from the spine into the specific region the nerve innervates.
