I have lip eczema. used hydrocortisone no use. doc prescribed mometasone. eczema is gone but my lips are starting to flare up after a week of stopping.mometasone being a strong steroid, in a dilemma whether to use it or not. what to do now?

You could have a condition known as perioral or periorificial dermatitis often associated with use of steroid cream. You may need to see dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
