This is dysphagia: dysphagia, trouble swallowing solids is most commonly related to inflammation of the esophagus from heartburn. The best way to diagnose is with upper endoscopy and often missed on the studies you had. Antacid such as Protonix will help, antibiotics are added in the case of ulcer disease which does not typically cause dysphagia. The Cipro (ciprofloxacin) likely made the problem obvious, not caused them.

Good start: Your doctor is treating you for H pylori bacteria, which can cause acid reflux. Get rid of the bacteria and you can get rid of symptoms. Please complete the entire 2 week course to give yourself the best chance of getting rid of the bacteria. If it doesn't help you might ask about esophageal manometry which measures pressures of the muscle contractions of the esophagus, or gastric emptying study

Generally: When prescribed such medications could be due having erosive gastritis with H pylori infection. However the Endoscopist should be able to explain to you his findings
