You better don't: Any medication has so named shelf life. That mean that medication still answer to its chemical specification and expected pharmacological effect. Beyond that time point is uncertainty. You may not expect adequate effect from expired medication. There might be potential problems as well. I'd not advise you to take your chances. Go and get new prescription.

On protonix (pantoprazole) 40mg twice a day with Zantac 300 at night and its not working. Had an endoscopy with f.I.C.E and it showed only mildly lax les. Symptoms are only in throat. Sore and lump. Stomach is ok.
