Viral bug: most viral gastroenteritis lasts 2-3 days as should the fever continue with small amounts of clear liquids such as pedialyte and appropriate fever control if the fever persists and /or the vomiting and diarrhea isn't improving in the next 2 days, you may want to see your doctor
