Normal, no worries: This is normal, nothing to be worried about. As you may know, sleep paralysis is the body's defense mechansim that prevents self-injury during dreaming. We dream we are running or striking out at something, but sleep paralysis keeps us from moving. With a bad dream, the fear wakens you up before the protective paralysis stops -- so it's common to experience it with a nightmare. No worries!
