Only 0.01% of people: on hydroxyzine report sleep paralysis, not more than placebo. However, nightmares are a significant side effect of hydroxyzine.

Not know of a relati: I am not aware of a relationship. Hydroxyzine can cause fatigue and can be used as a non-addicting sleep aid, anti-itch medication, anti-nausea medication. It can cause dizziness and even seizures and weakness. You can discuss it with your physician regarding your own specific health issues where it might have an affect.
