Too Low at least 30+: At one time the normal level was considered to be 20 ng/dL. As more has been learned about vitamin D and it's effects on the whole body that was raised to 30 or 32 depending on the lab. However, the normal range goes from 30 to 100 and from that you can see even 30 may be low, but you can get too much too. Other lab values that can help when looking at approp of vitamin D and supp as well.
