Worthwhile!: There are numerous clinic studies that support the LANAP therapy to recreate periodontal attachment and many too periodontists who advocate this treatment. Like any methodology, there are situations that it may not have optimal outcomes, but overall it is very promising. On the dentist's end, the equipment involves a huge capital investment and additional training. Consider a second opinion.

Periolase: Yet another tool to try to correct a periodontal defect. Regarding expense, it is less expensive than extraction, grafting, implant, post and crown. So based on your experiences, it's really not expensive, but inexpensive in comparison.
