A member asked:

Is propranalol ever effective for tinnitus, perhaps secondary to migraine? or ongoing visual "static" secondary to migraine?

Tinnitus: Recent treatment guidelines for tinnitus from the American Academy of Otolaryngology have recommended that no medication be considered for treating tinnitus due to inadequate benefit based on a review of the literature. If migraine is the main problem, then talking with your neurologist about treatment options is the best bet.
