Not OTC: Wellbutrin (bupropion) does not really help you lose weight but it does not have weight gain as a side effect. It is by prescription so you would need to talk to your doctor about a change from zoloft to wellbutrin (bupropion). Wellbutrin (bupropion) is not right for everyone and has some significant drug interactions.

Yes: This a possible effect of bupropion added to sertraline. However, you need to discuss all possible approaches to weight gain with your prescriber, as well as the correct dose and timing of buproprion, should you go that route. Over the counter? depends on the country.

Prescription only: Depending on symptoms for which you took Zoloft, Wellbutrin (bupropion) may be a good alternative not likely to cause weight gain. However, this med is available only by prescription. Discuss with your prescribing doctor. Like all medications, Wellbutrin (bupropion) has side effects and requires medical supervision. It is an antidepressant also used sometimes for smoking cessation. I hope this helps.
