Wet? Or Dry?: A little microphone designed to put on an old-style telephone would work, or any small, flat mic you can buy online or at Radio Shack.Or-I have an idea: rent out a recording studio for 6 hours and let them mic you with Mid-Side Microphones direct into a Reverb, compresser, and a couple of modulation effects and get creative.Have one dry track(your bowels)and a wet track (your bowels on drugs)-fun!

Generally not useful: I think you can probably describe them. Sounds in the abdomen are pretty much limited to a few basic patterns and none are particularly diagnostic. Your other symptoms - pain, appetite, bowel patterns, etc are probably more useful.
