About a month ago wasn't able to pass stool, was able to after taking a laxative. started experiencing a dull pain near my abdomen , went to the doctor and had an ultra sound done to rule out a hernia. since then the pain has increased. any ideas?

Fiber fiber fiber: If you see your doctor and they do an ultrasound then make sure you had a complete exam. You should have had a rectal exam to rule out cancer. You also had an ultrasound. You should have also had a discussion about fiber. It is important to stay hydrated with water and to have a minimum of fiber daily. After this you should have a gynecology work up if not better.
