Opportunity: Elevated liver enzymes (i.e., sgot/ast and sgpt/alt) warn of treatable, serious disease. Most often it's alcohol or allergy to a medication. You'll get checked for hepatitis b & c, hemochromatosis, wilson's, and autoimmune hepatitis, maybe others. If ultrasound shows fat, you'll get a rx that will probably include some serious physical-fitness stuff. Embrace it. No alcohol for now. Best wishes.
