Can you take amitriptyline and naproxen together?

With caution: Naproxen and similar anti-imflammatory medications increase the risk of bleeding by inhibiting platelet function (platelets help the blood clot). This platelet function is further impaired if amitriptyline is taken with the naproxen. An occasional use of naproxen is probably okay but regular use should be avoided if you are on amitriptylene.
