Increased bleeding: The two interactions that would be characterized relatively minor would be the enhancement of bleeding seen with Amitriptyline combined with Ibuprofen and a possibility of medications that lower inflammation reducing the efficacy of medications for depression that is only suggested by basic science research and has not been proven. I would talk to your prescribing physician about your concerns!
