Maybe not so easy.: More to the point, before trying to self diagnose, have it examined and eliminate all doubt. Your symptoms seem to describe a gouty condition, and could very well be, but controlling diet may be only part of the solution. Your doctor can supply all the necessary information, as well as instruction, to help you deal with this.
