Talk to dentist: Talk to the dentist or oral surgeon who placed the implants. You need their expert advice as I have no way of knowing the exact condition of your jaw (is it upper or lower), where are the implants placed, are there remaining teeth, was it a difficult placement or straight forward, any infection? There are too many variables to give you an intelligent answer.

Depends: Some procedures have very little pain associated with them, as others can produce various levels of discomfort for over a week. Often sutures can get tight & pain lessens then increases as this happens several days to a week later. If redness increases, pain significantly worsens, fever or pus is present, call the surgeon immediately.

Depends: Many factors contribute to the post-operative experience--both physical and emotional. Emotional factors relate to your ability to withstand discomfort and control your reaction. Physical pain symptoms should be alleviated with pain medications: rx &/or otc. My patients are advised that most pain should dissipate within 48-72 hours. Mild discomfort can linger. All depends on extent of surgery.

This varies...: I would discuss this with the implant surgeon. The implant surgeon knows the experience of his/her own patients. The answer to this question depends upon so many factors like the skill of the surgeon, the healing ability of the patient, if the patient is a smoker, the pain resistance and perception of the patient, among other factors.

Vary: Depends on everyone and severity. Not only the actual trauma from surgery but how you respond to pain. Everyone is different.
