Can colonoscopy show acute diverticulitis and inflammation of the colon and is it done through biopsy or the dr can see it with the camera?
On my colon biopsy it shows benign colonic mucosa with moderately increased chronic inflammation in the lamina propria with an increase in lymphoid aggregates. The report also says no evidence of IBD or microscopic colitis. Is this a normal finding?
27/f, sigmoidoscopy results- internal hemorrhoids + mild erythma & petechiae in sigmoid colon & distal rectum. Took biopsies. What does this mean?
Biopsy: "sigmoid colon, well differentiated adenocarcinoma, grade i" does this indicate that the tumor won't probably metastasize? Triphasic CT shows a lesion in the liver (1cm) as well.
