PT and depersonlized: Would go to ER for possible CT scan/MRI. it is my understanding in PT for labrynthritis. they rotate the head especially in Epley's maneuver which may be irritating if not done properly, or if you bend your head or flex within the 48 hours after the maneuver. Alternatively the process that caused the labrythtritis may be recurring. Check for carotid issues. Go to ER

Depersonalization: can be accompanied by the symptoms you mention. Please see your doc and tell the physical therapist. One or more cranial nerves or blood vessels may be involved. If you have a history of depersonalization independent of this please see a mental health professional. Peace and good health.

Therapy: You may have a mixed mood disorder( depression with anxiety) assuming no drugs or alcohol are involved. I suggest calling you local mental health hotline and speaking to both a psychiatrist and a behavioral therapist psychologist). I doubt that labyrinthitis has anything to do with feelings of depersonalization: seek immediate help-TODAY!

Depersonalization is: the result of severe psychological decompensation, usually because of high repression of stressors. It causes the world to look robot-like, or estranged--not personal. You may feel like a robot yourself, which can't be helped by labyrinthitis, which is a vestibular condition (probably physical). After the physical symptoms subside, seek out a therapist who can help you re-integrate feelings.
