Just in one foot?: If the symptoms are just in one foot, and they affect the top and bottom of your foot, then radiculopathy may be the cause. This is a condition where nerve roots in the back are compressed. This normally affects one side. Another possible cause is peroneal neuropathy, which is often caused by crossing the legs too much.

Parasthesias: It sounds like you are describing "parasthesias" which is an abnormal sensation caused by damage to the peripheral nerves. Common causes include diabetes and alcohol use and rarely vitamin/electrolyte deficiency.
