Colonoscopy vs EGD: Colonoscopy is good for getting a look inside your colon (large intestine). However, it tells us nothing about your small intestine or stomach. An EGD (upper endoscopy) will get you a view of your stomach but you'll need capsule endoscopy to look at small bowel. CT scan would get you a view inside. Ultrasound would do so w/o radiation. Gastritis? Gallbladder stone? Appendicitis? Kidney stone?

Please get checked..: Abdominal pain is never normal, but you have not indicated the intensity, duration, or circumstances of your symptoms. Lots of things cause pain as described (both GI and non-GI causes)--see my earlier Healthtap answers on the subject please. If pain is severe or worsening, don't delay in seeking further evaluation & getting treated.
