Mix it up!: A good diet for runners includes foods high in protein like almonds and eggs as well as whole grains, sweet potatoes, chicken, beans, salmon, and low fat yogurt. If weight loss is your goal don’t stick to the same routine every day. In addition to running try other exercises like lifting weights, biking, yoga, etc. Mixing up your routine keeps your body guessing and increases weight loss.
