Possibly: Even if you are a vegetarian, there are still plenty of foods that cause weight gain. The key is to burn more calories than what you take in. Keep a diary and have a plan, or better yet, seek out a personal trainer or a nutritionist that can help guide you. You may want to also cross-train. Lifting weights is a great way to burn calories if done correctly.
