I have la grade b reflux esphogitis via endoscopy/biopsy. No hyplori. I was put on ppi for 8 weeks. Is this the same thing as EROSIVE esophagitis? If it is, won't I be on ppi for life?
Endoscopy showed grade B reflux esophagitis. Biopsy says: reflux esophagitis, mild, with focal surface erosion. Is the erosion also mild? I started on 20 mg Prilosec. I still have some regurgitation but no longer burning. Is med likely to heal this?
