Went to doc's yesterday, have uti spread to kidney. lots of pain was in kidneys, taking antibiotics, they feel better but now back hurts. go to er?

Can contact the Dr.: A kidney infection is more serious than a bladder infection. If symptoms are worsening, one treatment option is injectable antibiotics, such as IV antibiotics. One's own doctor should be able to give some advice, but if there is no doctor available, then the E.R. would be the next option.
