Good News: First, colonoscopy was normal is great news. Biopsy done for screening.Nonspecific colitis is for mucosae with less clear cut clinical and pathologic findings than definitive chronic syndromes,ie due to infections, diverticulitis, drug induced colitis etc. If not symptomatic, ie diarrhea, then just trust your GI doc.If otherwise, seek more anwers or review the biopsy if NSC is microscopic colitis

I agree, but...: If you still have some symptoms from your colon, like bleeding or frequent bowel motion, you may need a follow up colonoscopy which can help determine whether your colon has changed for better or worse.
