Caught a virus ?: Most things that will give you those symptoms are viral illnesses like the stomach flu, etc. Should the symptoms not improve in the next few days or so or should they worsen he should see his md. Other more serious illnesses may begin with those symptoms but then worsen. Have him rest, stay hydrated and see someone if not improving. Hope he feels better.
