I had a 2d echo on my heart and my mitral valve doesnt close at all, not even a little bit, just stays open is this normal?

Mitral valve: I suggest you discuss with your doctor, I think you've got something wrong. The mitral valve closes and when it doesn't close properly, it almost never 'doesn't close at all', this would have you in severe heart failure constantly or worse.
