Lymphomas: Flowcytometery test will exclude non-hodgkins lymphoma. However, it does not exclude hodgkins lymphoma. Flowcytometery is done to diagnose and classify blood/bone marrow and lymph node cancers (leukemia and lymphomas). Leukemias are of many type; some of them can not be diagnosed with this test such as myeloproliferative diseases (CML, ET, polycythemia vera etc) and MDS (myelodysplastsic syndrome
