See an Eye MD: It is imperative that your son be seen by an Ophthalmologist, or Eye MD who is adept in or specializes in the care of children with eye problems. This is most often performed by a Pediatric Ophthalmologist, if available in your area. With appropriate management, your son can attain 20/20 best-corrected vision in his amblyopia eye.

Less likely: Age seven is late in the game to correctly correct anisometropic amblyopia. This does not mean that aggressive use of spectacle correction with patching should not still be pusued
