More info needed?: 20/20 vision is normal. Most amblyopia eyes don't have normal vision. Is the non amblyopic eye 20/20? Then what is the visual acuity in the amblyopic eye? Light perception or 20/X? I'm not understanding the question fully. What is not resolved? Most people are thrilled to have 20/20 vision, usually without amblyopia. Please give us more info on this. Thanks!

?Ur dfn of amblyopia: Some confuse the problem of eye alignment with amblyopia and I wonder if that is your confusion. Amblyopia is the brain turning off part/all of the input from an eye. This can be caused by or result in the eyes loosing alignment. If the strength of the eye is 20/20, alignment may return or surgery may be needed to help. Many can be helped at his age.
