A member asked:

My left eye is -1.0 while right is -4.0. am i suffering from anisometropia? if so, what should i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

+anisometropia: This is anisometropia, a significant difference in prescription of the eyes. No treatment required other than to see better you need correction. Easily correctable with contact lenses. Glasses will be more difficult to tolerate because of the difference between the two eyes. If you are a candidate, laser vision correction is another great option
