Get it checked: Usually a lymph node is not all that hard. Good that you can move it, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it is safe. Get an appointment and meanwhile put warm compresses on it to see if you can soften and help it to go away. Meanwhile, don't mess with it otherwise. Good luck.

Hard node: Hard nodes should be looked into. He mobile skin over the node doesn't help. You need to see your MD and get a complete history and physical and followed by test to determine the cause. Key is to pursue this. Best of luck
