Yes: All the tartar needs to be removed from your teeth whether or not you are having Invisalign.

Yes: If you still have tartar (calculus) present on your teeth after a deep cleaning, you should still have regular cleaning visits with your dental hygienist and/or dentist before proceeding with Invisalign or any orthodontic treatment.

Of course: After the deep cleaning, you should be seen for periodontal maintenance visits which generally occur every 3-4 months due to the risk of developing subgingival calculus once again. Always properly clean your teeth with invisalign and maintain good oral health. Good luck.

Appears so: should not be any tartar left on your teeth go back and have it removed assuming the procedure was just completed recently after that it is your responsibility to keep teeth clean and gum tissue healthy you should have a recall schedule already set up

Be careful: No qualified Orthodontic Specialist would begin treatment unless the roots of your teeth were glass smooth, all tarter above and below the gum line was removed, and your tissues were inflammation free. If teeth are moved in the presence of active gum disease you will loose supporting tissues. As an Orthodontist I would insist that you had clearance from a Periodontist, and had cleanings 4x/year.
