Yes, but ...: In addition to seeing an orthodontist, i would suggest having them work with a periodontist to address these other issues as well.

# of considerations: No qualified orthodontist would consider corrective rx in the presence of infection...Gum disease must be resolved first. If cross bite is skeletal it cannot be resolved in an adult with tooth movement alone...Surgery is required. Clear aligners are less than 1/2 as effective as braces in correcting crossbites. Please see a qualified orthodontic specialist. This is beyond a gp's training.
