No: ? Buckle fxs usually occur in children ? But most finger fractures can be treated with taping the fingers together we call it "buddy taping" they make small velcro loops to do this with too called "buddy loops" by a company called three point products they work nicely.

Buckle fracture: is a misnomer for an adult and nondisplaced but slight impacted fracture is more likely. Cast or splint may help if a fracture is unstable or very swollen or paoinful with range of motion. Tapong ,may work but leaves the fingers free to absorb force and may be OK in some cases. A lot depends upon the extent of soft tissue injury or swelling and the ealuaton of the frature seen well in 3 views XRAY
