Finger fracture: Fractures of a finger are best evaluated and treated by a hand surgeon in an effort to prevent long term damage to the joints and chronic disability of the finger and hand.

Finger fracture : You need an x-ray. So go to urgent care, emergency room or a doctor who has an x-ray. The first step is getting a proper diagnosis.
You don't have to wait to see a hand specialist to get the diagnosis
