I had a question about my eyes, i was wondering if having astigmatism could play in or cause other eye problems.. for example i see flashes of lights and floating objects from time to time?

See ophthalmologist: Astigmatism would cause blurry vision but won't cause "floaters" or flashes of light. Floaters represent small pieces of gelatinous vitreous humor floating in the more liquid center of the vitreous fluid.
