Probably not a cause: The need for astigmatism correction will not cause any symptom except blurred vision. WEARING the correction in glasses is another issue. People can get a lightheaded or swimming sensation and possibly distortion of vision with certain types of glasses prescriptions. These symptoms might also be dependent on how the glasses are made (centration, curvature). Contact lenses minimize these symptoms.
