Yes: Ck with your ophthalmologist?- most of my pt's needing cataract surgery both eyes get them done at same time.

Separate: Sequential cataract surgery is rarely done. To have both cataracts removed, they both would have to qualify for surgery, then separate the surgeries at least one to two weeks apart or longer to assure proper recovery and acceptable vision outcome.
