Not recommended: While Valerian root is generally considered safe to use for anxiety and insomnia, it's uncertain whether or not it's any better than placebo (the suggestiveness effect). Most OB's will tell you NOT to take it during pregnancy. Herbal products aren't regulated & you never know what or how much you're getting. Why not talk with your OB about alternative ways to have a wonderful wedding?
