Second opinion: It sounds like they are suggesting that there is not a "fix" for your condition and are suggesting you just go on long term medication management. At 22 years of age, you might want to consider a second opinion just to see if there might not be another option than long term medications. It would not hurt to get another set of eyes to look over your case; consider going to a university setting.
